COPPA & FERPA

COPPA (under 13)

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
• For school deployments, schools may provide consent on behalf of parents under the FTC's school-consent guidance, limited to educational use.
• No behavioral advertising, third-party ad tracking, or sale of student data — ever.
• Parents may review, delete, or refuse further collection by emailing privacy@skilluparc.com.

FERPA

• When a school contracts with ArcProof, we operate as a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest under 34 CFR §99.31(a)(1).
• Education records remain under the direct control of the school and are not used for any purpose beyond delivering the contracted service.
• We do not re-disclose education records without authorization from the school or eligible parent/student.
• Records are returned or destroyed when the contract ends or upon written request.

Parent & Guardian Rights

• Inspect and review your child's records.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your child's account and data.
• Receive notice of any material change to data practices.

Aligned Standards

Our K-12 practices are aligned with the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) v1.0 and the Student Privacy Pledge. Districts may request a signed NDPA exhibit for their state.
