ArcProof Skill Scanner: common questions
Is the ArcProof Skill Scanner really free?
Yes. No credit card or signup is required. The free report includes your Career Readiness Score, detected skills and up to three priority gap recommendations. Usage limits apply.
How does the AI skill gap analysis work?
Paste or upload your resume and choose a target role. AI estimates your alignment and suggests skills to develop. The report is not a verified assessment, a hiring prediction or a guarantee of employment.
Is my resume data private?
For the free no signup scan, resume text is sent to our AI processing provider to create your report and is not written to your ArcProof account or application database. A separate abuse prevention record is retained for rate limiting.
What can I do after the scan?
Download your report, explore Skill Foundations and compare public pricing. ArcProof Pro adds skill verification and shareable credentials. A resume scan alone does not issue a credential.
How is this different from a resume keyword scanner?
ArcProof uses the experience described in your resume to suggest role specific strengths and gaps, rather than simply counting keywords. These suggestions still need to be validated through skill assessments.
